Sunday - BYO Little Furniture Painting Workshop (Camp Hill)

If you are wondering what makes Annie Sloan Chalk Paint so special and unique, this is the perfect class for you. This fun and informative workshop covers the basics of the Annie Sloan method, how to paint, stencil, distress and wax over common furniture finishes. 

Techniques covered include:

• Two colour aged look
• Textured finish
• Smooth finish
• Stenciling
• Distressing
• Use of clear, dark, black, white wax

The workshop also gives you the opportunity to try out Annie Sloan's painting tools.. Once you hve learned the basic techniques, you will tackle your own furniture to paint!

You get to take home a sample of each of the techniques you have learned created during the workshop + Annie Sloan basic gift package (colour card, brochure, Fact sheet + sample size sanding pads), ADN your Old-New furniture that you painted by your hands!

Here are the rules:

Bring a SMALL piece of furniture that must approved by the host. Send us photos of your SMALL piece of furniture when you book your seat.

It should be small enough to carry under one arm such as, a small chair, small single drawer side table, stool, small wooden box, lamp base or picture frame.

All supplies are included so you don’t need to bring any special tools or supplies.

This workshop is a 4.5-hour class and all material will be provided. All of these techniques can be used to create your own unique, one-of-a-kind furniture/decor to take home!

The class fee is $120 per person. All materials provided plus you will get a 10% discount on anything purchased in my stall on the day. Please wear something that you wouldn't mind getting some paint on.

*** IMPORTANT*** 

Bring along a SMALL piece of wooden furniture no larger than a dining chair to complete on the day, EASY TO CARRY and SIMPLE SHAPE such as side table, stool, serving tray, bread box etc. Please send me a photo of your SMALL furniture you wish to paint that needs to be approved in advance by host. IF you want to paint tricky shaped / laminate or paint light color over Asian timber furniture such as mahogany, teak, or cherry also knotty pine, you may not able to finish your projects in the class from special prep would be needed.

***Cancellation Policy***

Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 4 days before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

• Cancellations made 4 or more days prior to a booked workshop date will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made 3 days prior to a booked workshop date will be refunded 30% of the full workshop cost.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of a booked workshop date will not receive a refund. However you can send someone else in your place.
